Week 41

Dear Mom, 
1.(Best and worst) Best- contacting a guy that wouldn't even shake our hands and then having a lesson with him and he accepted a Book of Mormon and committed to read it. Worst- Lessons failing through but it's a part of missionary work so it's cool. 
2. (The girls would like to know about some of your investigators, like more details about conversation and discussions you have with them) Jonathan. Taught him law of chastity and Word of Wisdom and other commandments this week, He invited us to his wedding but we can't go because its out of our area.  
Rita is 22. She is an interesting girl. She doesn't have much of a religious background but she has been to church 3 weeks in a row so she is doing great. conversations are funny here. I don't know how to explain it but it's great. 
3. (Something crazy you saw this week.) cows and goats and sketchy vehicles   

We had a baptism on Sunday. His name is Charles Asante. He doesn't really speak English so it has been interesting but he is so great. I was able to perform the baptism so that was great.

Week 40

Dear Mother,  
First off Thank you sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much for the pants. They fit so nice and I am looking good again so thank you so much. Also Griffins thanks for the package and all the candy. It has all been eaten. The letters were great and I am sending a letter soon. Thank you so much. Skyler thanks for the tie I am wearing it right now actually. Also the rules have changed so we are allowed to email friends and really anyone we want just to let you know.  
1. (Best of the week) We found some good new people this week and we have some solid people as well. 
2. (Worst of the week) Getting denied a ton. We were getting pretty well rejected a few days. I don't think I have heard so many "next times" ha. It's ok though.  
3. (Best contact you made this week) We had quite a few contacts. We met this girl on Saturday and she came to church on Sunday so that's good. 
4. (Worst contact you made this week) We walked up to this women and before we could get like 20 feet from her she just waved us off. She wasn't too nice.  
5. (Best in your scripture study.) Jesus the Christ. Best book ever! also the Book of Mormon we have had some good study sessions   

We get to go to the temple this week and I am super excited. We had a good week. I got 3 packages this week so that was great, Shows that I am loved. So much candy ha it's all gone sadly. Well the church is true everyone just read the Book of Mormon and pray about it and you will see that. It's really quite simple The Gospel is the best.

Week 39

Dear Mother, 

Well I have no time again this week. sorry. No I didn't get sick but don't tell anyone but I have an ingrown toe nail. Might be the greatest thing ever. He had malaria I think. 

1. (Did you ever get a package with your pants?) no not yet probably next week. 
2. (Best thing for the week?)  I can't think of my best thing. Probably the district DVD. 
3. (Worst thing of the week?) in grown toe. Don't get worried mom I am taking care of it. I am a big boy. 
4. (Who are you teaching?) a lot of people. Rita came to church this week, That was great we contacted her on Tuesday.  
5. (When are transfers?) April 2 .
6. (Are you getting a lot of missionaries?) yes 25 next transfer. 
7. (Did you know that your mission is going to be split?) yes we knew before anyone. i am scared ha. 
8. (What is the weather like now? Hot?) yes the exact same hot.  
9. (How many missionaries are in your district?) ^ white elders 6

Week 38

Dear Mother, 
Man Howie is a champ. I don't think I could of done that. Sorry I just am super tired after we play is all. We played again today. We've moved to the Kaneshie District. We have 6 white Elders in our district. We played some good ultimate Frisbee. Our District leader Elder Rane played a lot in high school so it was really fun. 
1. (Best and worst of the week.) Mom your questions really make me think ha. William came to church again. He is progressing so much and he hasn't drank or smoked since my companion and I gave him a blessing so that is really great. Priesthood power is real.  Worst my companion was really sick on Tuesday like all day so I read the whole Our Search for Happiness in about 4 hours that is a great book.   
2. (Something you learned from scripture study.) Jesus the Christ. That is all I have to say. That book is so amazing. I didn't want to read it because it is so long but I am so glad I did. I'm on page like 100. Joseph and Mary are cousins. and Christ was born on April 6th. Best book Ever. 
3. (Best contact you made.) We actually met a guy last night. We just came out of our compound door and this guy started talking to us. He seems like he has a real genuine interest so that is good.   
4. (Worst contact you made.) These guys were trying to move some furniture into their house and we offered to help them but they said they were busy and we just told them we wanted to help them but they just said come back another time. 
5. (Craziest thing you saw this week.) 2 other white people in the cafe right now. One girl has dreads. Weird  
6. (One thing you miss) Milk and Cereal. 
Well this week was a difficult but everything is great now and we are going to have a wonderful week. I bore my testimony is church and I continue to get hugs from the Bishop so I am guessing that is a good thing. Also I found the best picture book. Do you remember Mike Mulligan and his Steam Shovel I may have to send a picture. We totally use to read it back in the day and I was just walking on the roadside and saw it in a big pile and I may or may not have bought it ha.  
The church is true the book Of Mormon is the Word of God. So really nothing else matters. I love you all. Shout out to Howie. Well Done sir. I am impressed. Keep up the good work.

Dear Father, 
Backpacks are way too big and they get your shirts way too dirty. I have a shoulder bag and it is so nice. Everyone here uses shoulder bags. We played some good frisbee today. I got really dirty. Very true the Lord is definitely blessing me. Thanks dad
